Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and any business details you give us (such as your shop name or production categories) so we can tailor gap results to what you actually sell.
Public marketplace and social signals. To find market gaps, we read publicly available marketplace reviews, product Q&A, and video comments (for example, on YouTube) that mention products buyers are looking for. This content was already public when its author posted it. We hash author identifiers (using a one-way cryptographic hash) at the point we ingest this data — we do not store raw usernames, handles, or other identifying details about the people who wrote it.
Usage data. We may log how you use the product (pages viewed, searches run) to keep the service working and improve it.

We use this information to operate Gap Hunter: to compute and rank market-gap scores, to show you results relevant to what you sell, to run the service reliably, and to contact you about your account or the private beta. We do not use marketplace review or comment content to identify the individuals who wrote it, and we do not attempt to re-identify anyone from a hashed identifier.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run Gap Hunter — for example, our database and hosting providers — under obligations to protect it, and when required by law.
